A-Bitchin'-and-a-Moanin' Well, I gotta say that this clear liquid diet is for the birds. Actually, not even, because that's mean to birds, and I rather like birds, except for flying rats (pigeons) and morning doves (might as well be pigeons). I've been eating Jell-o and broth and water and a little bit of wine (yes, I know I said earlier that I thought I'd be soused all weekend but I don't feel like dealing with a hangover as well) and apple juice and popsicles and freeze pops. I did get some sorbet today, but Hubster is maintaining that it probably isn't proper sorbet (and therefore OK for the diet) because it's chocolate. Chocolate!! HAAGEN-DAZS, even!! Oh, how could it not be okay? It doesn't have fruit pieces in it! Phhhhhhhhhtt. Feh, I say again, feh. Anyway, gotta go pay the rent and make more frickin' Jell-o. One more day of this nonsense and then it's the surgery and morphine pumps. Hooray!
